## Setup & Connection

    Username is always `Administrator`. Your unique password and IP address are in the welcome email — copy them exactly (case-sensitive).

    Common reasons: Too soon after setup, wrong IP/password, or firewall issues. Check [Unable to Connect](/troubleshooting/unable-to-connect) for fixes.

  <Accordion title="Is RDP secure?">
    Yes — RDP is encrypted. For extra security, use a strong password and enable our RDP Lockdown feature in [VPS Security](/management/vps-security/rdp-lockdown).
