Windows Updates
Windows updates are recommended for all VPS users. Keeping Windows up to date helps protect your trading environment from security vulnerabilities and ensures optimal system performance.
Windows updates are not installed automatically on your VPS. You will need to install them manually through Windows Update settings. Windows updates require a reboot of your VPS. Therefore, we recommend installing updates during weekends when the forex markets are closed to avoid any disruption to your trading activities.
After installing Windows updates and rebooting your VPS, it is normal for the system to be temporarily inaccessible for a few minutes. This is a standard part of the Windows update process as the system needs to complete the installation of updates during the restart.
WARNING: Do not force restart your VPS during this process. Interrupting the update installation can cause system problems and potentially corrupt Windows. Simply wait for the update process to complete naturally, and your VPS will become accessible again.
If for any reason you are still unable to access the VPS after a few minutes, please contact our support team and we will be happy to help ensure the problem is resolved.
